Represent\u00f3 durante un tiempo una voz oficial de la Federaci\u00f3n Obrera Regional Argentina (FORA), cuyo \u00f3rgano <em>Organizaci\u00f3n Obrera<\/em> aparec\u00eda con menos regularidad y luego pas\u00f3 a manos del movimiento obrero anarquista de la Argentina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En las p\u00e1ginas de <em>La Protesta<\/em> colaborar\u00edan plumas talentosas como las de: Mariano Cort\u00e9s, Jos\u00e9 Prat, Eduardo Gilim\u00f3n, el doctor Emilio Arana, Pietro Gori, Antoni Pellicer i Paraire (Pellico), Juan Creaghe, Alberto Ghiraldo, Florencio S\u00e1nchez, Jos\u00e9 de Maturana, Elam Ravel, Francisco Berri (R.Osita), R.P.
